शोध में केस स्टडी क्या है?

Case study is one of the popular way to find out outcome in the research. The power of this methodology is that it gives in-depth knowledge and understanding regarding the subject. In case study the researchers used to target the particular case from various angles. This is very popular way to find out the reason behind any problem. A deep and holistic knowledge comes after doing the case study. It provides deeper understanding. It is highly done in the field of psychology., criminology, anthropology, sociology, medicine and education. With the help of case study, the problem with localised nature can easily be solved. The thing that is very important related to the case study is that the finding of the case study cannot be applied to a very large population or other area. So the case study is the thing which is done in a very customise and localised manner. What is one of the strategy that is applied to any particular case cannot be suitable to other case. There the other strategy will work.

 

अनुसंधान में परिणाम प्राप्त करने के लिए केस स्टडी काफ़ी पुराना और सटीक तरीक़ा है। केस स्टडी का प्रयोग ज़्यादातर उन मामलों में किया जाता है जो काफ़ी गंभीर होते हैं। केस स्टडी समस्या की गहराई तक जाने का अचूक रास्ता है। न सिर्फ़ यह समस्या की गहराई तक लेकर चाहता है बल्कि समस्या की जड़ों को कई दृष्टिकोण से जाँचता-परखता है तब जाकर किसी परिणाम तक पहुँचता है। केस स्टडी के द्वारा निकाला गया परिणाम पर काफ़ी भरोसा शोधकर्ता को होता है। अपराध विज्ञान में केस स्टडी के द्वारा काफ़ी ऐसे जटिल से जटिल मामलों का हल निकाला जाता है जो असंभव सा दिखता है। केस स्टडी के द्वारा ही शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कई सारे अनुप्रयोगों को खोज कर निकाला जाता है। ज़्यादातर केस स्टडी काफ़ी स्थाई समस्याओं से जुड़े होते हैं। केस स्टडी के परिणाम का उपयोग इसलिए ज़्यादा बड़े जनसंख्या पर नहीं किया जा सकता है। बहुत बड़े भू भाग पर नहीं किया जा सकता है।

Highly focused one-

Case study is very focused one. Case study is applied to very specific case which has happened. Maybe to study a single case this method is applied. One thing that is important is that single case will be of very important nature. That single case can give breakthrough for large application.

अत्यधिक केंद्रित-

केस स्टडी बहुत केंद्रित अध्ययन है। केस स्टडी बहुत विशिष्ट मामले पर लागू होती। हो सकता है कि किसी एक मामले का अध्ययन करने के लिए इस पद्धति का प्रयोग किया जाए। एक बात जो महत्वपूर्ण है वह यह है कि मामला बहुत महत्वपूर्ण प्रकृति का होगा तब ही इस विधि का प्रयोग होगा। वह अकेला मामला बड़े परिणाम दे सकता है। 

Multiple Approach-

While performing this study, multiple approaches is applied. These approach are applied to get deeper insight and understanding of the problem. For example while performing case study, the researcher can apply historical analysis, interview, literature review, observation and other methods to reach out conclusion.

एकाधिक दृष्टिकोण-

इस अध्ययन को करते समय, कई दृष्टिकोणों को लागू किया जाता है। समस्या की गहन अंतर्दृष्टि और समझ प्राप्त करने के लिए इन दृष्टिकोणों को लागू किया जाता है। उदाहरण के लिए केस स्टडी करते समय, शोधकर्ता निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचने के लिए ऐतिहासिक विश्लेषण, साक्षात्कार, साहित्य समीक्षा, अवलोकन और अन्य तरीकों को लागू कर सकता है।

Provides deep analysis- 

Case study is the technique which gives deeper knowledge about the problem. No, any research methodology provide such a deep understanding of problem. The reason behind this is that the case study is done on a specific case. The research area is very defined and small, so a deeper analysis is reached. In case study, multiple techniques are applied so that more viewpoint are gained while doing research. 

गहन विश्लेषण प्रदान करता है-

केस स्टडी वह तकनीक है जो समस्या के बारे में गहन ज्ञान देती है। कोई भी शोध पद्धति समस्या की इतनी गहरी समझ प्रदान नहीं करती है। इसके पीछे कारण यह है कि केस स्टडी किसी खास मामले पर की जाती है। अनुसंधान क्षेत्र बहुत परिभाषित और छोटा है, इसलिए गहन विश्लेषण किया जाता है। मामले के अध्ययन में, कई तकनीकों को लागू किया जाता है ताकि अनुसंधान करते समय अधिक दृष्टिकोण प्राप्त किया जा सके।

Qualitative way of doing research-

Case study is qualitative way of doing the research. It means this is subjective way of analysing the problem. The outcome will be developed into theory and narrative. Even some books can also be returning after the filing of case study. 

अनुसंधान करने का गुणात्मक तरीका-

केस स्टडी शोध करने का गुणात्मक तरीका है। इसका मतलब है कि यह समस्या का विश्लेषण करने का व्यक्तिपरक तरीका है। परिणाम सिद्धांत और कथन में विकसित किया जा सकता है। किताबें भी केस स्टडी के आधार पर लिखी जा सकती है।

Data is very specific in nature- 

The data which is gain through the case study is very specific in nature. That particular data is applied to very limited case or in some sense that particular case only. It is not like that the outcome can be generalise for each and every case. The outcome cannot be applied to other area because the nature of case will be totally different one from the previous case. So the data is very specific in nature in case a study.

डेटा की प्रकृति बहुत विशिष्ट होती है-

केस स्टडी के माध्यम से जो डेटा प्राप्त होता है वह बहुत विशिष्ट प्रकृति का होता है। वह विशेष डेटा बहुत सीमित मामले में या किसी अर्थ में उस विशेष मामले में ही लागू होता है। ऐसा नहीं है कि प्रत्येक मामले के लिए परिणाम का सामान्यीकरण किया जा सकता है। परिणाम को अन्य क्षेत्र में लागू नहीं किया जा सकता क्योंकि मामले की प्रकृति पिछले मामले से पूरी तरह अलग होगी।

At last it can be said that case study is very reliable way to do research. After getting the results through case study there is no chance of confusion whatsoever. This methodology has been utilised to find out the solution of many complex problem. One thing that is very important is that the qualification of the team which used to perform this case study. If the team is qualified than no doubt the result will be outstanding but if the team will not be qualified enough then there is a chance of biases in the result. This methodology is applied after seeing the nature of the case. As the nature demand accordingly the methodology is applied to solve the problem. 

कुल मिलाकर देखें तो केस स्टडी अनुसंधान करने का काफ़ी विश्वसनीय तरीक़ा है इसके द्वारा हम कई विधियों का प्रयोग करके निष्कर्ष तक पहुँच सकते हैं। इस विधि का प्रयोग करने के बाद परिणाम को लेकर भ्रम की स्थिति नहीं रहती है।  जटिल से जटिल समस्याओं का निदान इस विधि के द्वारा खोजा गया है। ग़ौरतलब है कि इस विधि को करने वाले टीम की काबिलियत काफ़ी हद तक मायने रखती है। कई बार काबिलियत न होने की वजह से परिणाम में पक्षपात का भी समस्या हो सकता है। ये समस्या के प्रकृति से जुड़ा होता है। समस्या की प्रकृति जैसी होती है के केस स्टडी के द्वारा वैसे ही विधि का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
